Solution Architect [ Arlington ]

You are a highly motivated, customer-facing technical evangelist, not afraid to roll up your sleeves. Our primary mission is to help our customers succeed, and you will play an essential role defining the right solution for our clients and conveying the value of them to customers, prospects, and partners. We’re looking for a strongly motivated self-starter with a keen attention to detail.

The Challenge

  • You own the technical side of the sales process, from introduction, RFP responses, demonstrations, architecture workshops and POCs through close
  • You thrive on demonstrating our products to the client, showing how we drive business value every step of the way
  • You work with customers, partners, and prospects in an energetic, fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • You build relationships with your counterparts on the client side and at the same time work in a team with our sales account executives
  • You build and give flexible and powerful presentations and demonstrations, and customize the demo to the client’s need where appropriate

What you offer

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar sales-driven technology role
  • The ability to clearly describe strengths of our product through both verbal and written communications; seamlessly adapt a presentation to meet a customer's evolving needs
  • Background in Content and Asset Management and e-Commerce is a must; familiarity with IBM WebSphere Commerce, Hybris, or Demandware is a plus
  • The ability to form and nurture business relationships across a target organization, from LOB stakeholders through C-Level decision-makers
  • You are not afraid to tell both peers and managers if there is a better way to do something, but also constantly focus on the mission; you can lead a customer conversation at any point
  • You are an expert in anything web. You code Java, Spring, and modern front-end frameworks (HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap) in your sleep. You’re an expert at omni-channel and high performance web architectures, and you know that headless isn’t just about a horseman, you know Maven, AWS, Chef and Docker
  • Willingness to travel between 50% - 75%
